TheArtfulPoet's bio
About a year ago I was inspired to write my first poem, Litterbug. I don’t suppose litter is the most romantic thing to be inspired by (and it actually makes me really cross) but looking on the bright side, it kicked off my writing career as a poet. I shared that poem on our local WhatsApp group and had lots of lovely comments which warmed the cockles of my heart. Since then, I have found inspiration pretty much everywhere – little things that strike me as amusing trigger a new creation! I have recently started a blog (www.theartfulpoet.com) and an Instagram account (theartfulpoet2024).
I live with my husband, Steve, and our golden retriever, Charly. We have three grown up children and two precious granddaughters. We live in a small hamlet in Hertfordshire of about 50 houses which lies between London and Cambridge. -

Lockdown Dog For SaleHi Sally, I'm glad you could relate to it, how funny- I suspect we're not alone! .Charly is a golden retriever and he's gorgeous - I wouldn't really let him go - apart from when I'm cleaning the house! My daughter is now in Bermuda and one of my sons is in Australia - kids ey? Who'd 'av 'em? What breed is Walter? I love that name btw for a dogViewDate:
