Chat Room - [DELETED_MEMBER]Jacqui In response to poking your nose in, I took the liberty of reading your responses to other chats. I really enjoyed your honest replies you really cracked me up, you made me laugh so much, I think you are a lovely lady and one heck character, completely agree on the jabs. I had a relative that came from the Harrogate area, he was awesome unfortunately long departed now, you reminded me so much of Steve the same straight answers and humour don't ever change. Chat Room - [DELETED_MEMBER]Hi Anne, so you are a black country girl, I originated from the wider area Rubery/ Rednal , have been in Buckinghamshire for 23 years, I used to go to Scotland quite often with work there's some great areas up there and the two places I don't really like are Edinburgh and Dundee. If you would prefer and still want to chat you could get in touch direct at brian.foster11@btinternet.com that should be a lot easier than the waiting time it takes to find replies. Chat Room - [DELETED_MEMBER]Hi Anne. It isn't helped when people send you a message, you reply to them and never hear anything back from them. Makes you wonder if you're just replying to a machine instead of people, if you feel like a chat then I will be happy to reply. Regards Brian.ViewDate:

Just a newbieHi Mason. My name is Brian and from the UK I have regular contact with dee from Oregon would you like me to let her know that you are trying to get in touch with her as I mail her everyday. She is an extremely lovely lady with such a big heart and so much fun, very good sense of humour, a very loyal and warm hearted friend, if i were to pass information onto her it would be on condition you were very respectful and kind because she deserves no less. To me dee is a valued friend. Like with all of us life has it's ups and downs, and right now she could use some extra happiness injected into her life I try but there's also a pond in the way. Kind Regards Brian.ViewDate:

Just a newbieHi Julie Sorry I see that you wrote five days ago the message has only just shown it self, no I never been to Australia I had thought about many years ago, with what you hear coming out from there it sounds like the government is a bit grim , then you saying they won't let you out ,while you are where you are at least use that garden to help feed yourself, as your budget is tight use what you have. What part of the UK were you from and is it your intention to return home providing the North Korean boarder guards let you out.ViewDate:

Just a newbieHi Princessmarissa. Having a good sense of humour is compulsory with the way things are these days, and being lonely is definitely not good for the soul. Do you have pastimes or hobbies and what makes you feel good. What area of the country do you live in, I also enjoy a good chat / conversation. Regards BrianViewDate:

Just a newbieGood morning Rita. Sorry for the delay in responding, have been busy trying to clear my garage ready for my mini tomorrow but as all men and garages have found stuff that I last moved 20+ years since, haven't been completely successful as yet as it's a double one, but hey ho I'm getting there, puss cat is helping by getting in the way as they do. What types of walks do you enjoy and how far do you walk, Do you have any preferences on food. I used to have dogs they were all great if I did have one now it would either be an Akita or a Malamute probably the latter. Do you have any pastimes hobbies that you enjoy, the last time I was in Leighton Buzzard was about ten years ago it had changed over time but everywhere does these days and rapidly. Just a newbieHi Carol. Yes Email is fine with me the address is on my page if for any reason it doesn't show, will definitely send to you, I am very surprised with this site that people want you to contact them because they are lonely and then you get no reply when you do, and it seems like you have had the same issue, people can be very strange at times, well Carol tell me something about yourself, what part of Norfolk do you live and how's your day going, and what takes up most your time. Just a newbieHello Carol. Age is but a number the desire to feel alive is the important thing, and chatting with people who make you feel happy and hopefully make you laugh, is something that we all need especially in these times, I live in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, sadly widowed, which is why I joined, the loneliness is very difficult, I do like talking with people I have a cat who is my little fur baby, I am very honest, hobbies are the garden, driving not in rush hour I avoid that, cooking, and yes I I will chat with you and hope we can form a friendship Regards Brian.ViewDate:

Bereavement - [DELETED_MEMBER]Hello Stephanie, My loverly wife was in a hospice and you know what the outcome is going to be, and it is so hard copping knowing you can't do anymore, she has sincepassed away, so I can only sympathise with what you are going through and it's not easy and we are never prepared for this type of situation, the one thing I have found that really helps is talking with people who are able to listen without giving too much advice, by talking and letting go of your emotions you often find the answers that you need materialise, unfortunately there is no one size fits all answer but talking helps to give you some iner peace, if you want to talk about anything anything at all you know how to find me. Kind Regards BrianViewDate:

Remembering the Big Freeze of 1963I remember this, Was a twelve year old at the time, the snow was definitely frozen and hard packed at five foot deep in our road that I remember because the junior school had a five foot wire fence and friends who strayed from the path had a habit of disappearing as we were all going to get the esso blue from the village, one of my friends burnt his tongue on a window (frost burn) being a silly bugger, never really thought of it as being a hardship at the time, have never forgotten the painful hands, feet, ears and nose from the cold temperatures. God only knows how it would be coped with these days if we had a rerun.ViewDate:

Restless legsI also suffer from RLS apart from multi vitamins ( found Centrum very good ) but doesn't eradicate it, I read somewhere about tendon stretching so tried it, and happily it's not a problem anymore and it's quite easy to do. On tip toe walk around and up and down the stairs a couple of times, should you have an attack night time in bed , get out and elevate to tip toe a few times until the tightness goes, I hope it works well for you as it has for me, it's made life so much easier. Kind Regards.ViewDate:

New hereHi Mggs, You definitely are not alone in your plight and my situation is much the same although I am a widower, and also finding it hard to adjust to being alone at home, if you want to chat, or have a good rant even, it's definitely good not to bottle it up, will leave the decision with you. Kind Regards .ViewDate:

Tree BumblebeesHi Lynn if they are in holes in the tree , the possibility is they are either solitary bee's or there's a small hive of bee's, they will be no bother to dogs or yourself I have bee's in my garden and have solitary bee hotels three foot from the back door, sometimes could do with air traffic control when they're busy, have never been a problem in the last 22 years ( the hotel numbers are in excess of 300 bee's). Hope this has been helpful. Brian. -
