I'm a 56 year old Mum of 2. I enjoy writing poetry about my first hand experiences.
My parents both passed away within 5 weeks of each other and with the help of a dear friend John I was able to visit my Dad's family home in Ireland.
I have a sausage dog aged 6 who is partly disabled after being paralysed 18 months ago. Thankfully he can now wobbly walk after a long period of rehabilitation. I also enjoy gardening and going to concerts and eating out with friends and family. -

Intensive careThis was written when my sister suffered major complications after having part of her lung removed. She spent 9 months in hospital. I will always be grateful to the doctors and nurses who treated her. She is almost 5 years cancer free xViewDate:
