Although I am 76 my friends say I look several days younger !
I live in the Algarve, Portugal. I have lived here for 7 years and before that I lived in the Pyrones, France for 6 years.
I have a sense of humour, enjoy living and am gregarious.
Although I left the UK some years ago, I still follow the news.

Everybody here in Portugal is winging about the shutdown of bars, restaurants, non-food shops etc. For me the glass is half full. I can learn to cook, listen to the radio, phone friends etc. so it really is not that bad However, having been to Dublin a few times I must admit wondering along Tempe Bar on a Saturday night must be different now. I used to have a boxty (?), Back then there were no trouble makers just happy drunks who loved to sing and every bar had someone who could play the piano. They forgave me for being part English when they heard that I could sing Kevin Barry, Sean South of Garryowen, I`m a rambler I´m a gambler etc. They say that nostalgia is alright, but it`s not what it used to be !!!ViewDate:

We are told that the soldiers are being vetted because it is believed that some will still show loyalty to Trump. A BBC reporter commented that Trump`s wall has been built, but it`s around parliament not Mexico !!! Yes, I agree many people fear that there will be more trouble tomorrow, but at least America has the beginning of some sensible leadership. Biden will help settle the Middle East crisis, re-join the Paris agreement, promote the Black Lives Matter movement and the Obamacare programme.ViewDate:
