Retired Doctor's receptionist and I love anything about arts and crafts. I edit and publish a newsletter that is sent to members of a group of people with depression. The original charity group closed due to lack of funding so my husband and I took it on to keep it running. We have about 50 members and we have renamed ourselves as Circle of Friends. My husband and I love our garden and our cat Dooley! -

The Bargain HuntHi Jo, I'm so glad to meet you! I'm so sorry you haven't painted for a long time as I'm the same. I used to go to a little painting group just across the road from me but Ann, who ran it couldn't do it any more. I miss it such a lot. You and I seem have a lot in common! I love to write poems but I have be inspired by something or someone. I have had a couple in the Daily Mail. My friends and I used to do craft fairs etc but since lockdown...well, you know! I have a lot of sympathy for you re sciatica as I've had that before. Have you ever tried Acupuncture? I found it help me enormously. I've had Fibromyalgia for the past 3 years, which is a very debilitating condition. So I do understand about constant pain. Maybe that's why you can't get back to painting etc?
