paxna19's bio
I'm a retired cartographer. I have written poetry since the age of about 10yrs old. I started to write more prolifically when I started my divorce some years ago. Writing got me through. I have also written a couple of children's books with illustrations as I also paint in watercolours, I paint pets and birds/animals portraits in hot melted wax.
I am very excited to hear that I have a book of my poems being published by i2i publishing which I am told, should be ready in January on line from all book shops. It is called On Top Of The Wardrobe.

CraftingI have spent the last 6 months developing a YouTube channel to share one of my hobbies as Christmas will soon be here. I make table decorations and on my new channel under Patricia's Paper Cuts you will find pictures and full instructions for making Choir Boys, The Three Kings and 3 Merry Monks. There's no costs involved there but if you like them a thumbs up, subscribe and a comment would be very welcome. Don't forget that you can't just google it, you need to be on YouTube. Hope you like my designs.ViewDate:

Getting YoungerHi Kes, thank you for your kind comment. My goodness that brings back memories. I loved to lick the bowl out but once the kids arrived I couldn't get a look in. Now's the time though. EnjoyViewDate:

Slow Cooker Chicken RaguI had the gift of a slow cooker for one person last year. I have used it a few times but never really been satisfied with the results. Always takes twice as long as recipe says, even when the veg is diced really small. Anyway I refuse to give up and your recipe sounds like a winner. Thank you lots.ViewDate:

Purse CurseThis made me smile. I had someone measure up my garden for astro turf in September. After waiting weeks I sent them a nudge. His reply was he had measured it in feet and inches but the grass was sold in metres so he would need to measure it again. I decided he's not the one!!! Anyway, loved your poem well done.ViewDate:

paxna19 showcase imageI think I have forgotten to say that I paint using hot melted wax known as Encaustic Wax. I use a stylus to paint with which is a bit like a soldering iron but with a split where it takes up the melted wax.ViewDate:
