Should smart motorways be scrapped?Smart Motorways are crazy.since 2014 35 PEOPLE have been killed whilst waiting to be rescued by a breakdown service. I put it to the Transport secretary how many more will there be in the future.? Recently a TV programme stated that it took 17 minutes for the relevant services to be notified that there was a breakdown in a safe lane and a further 17 minutes for a rescue vehicle to get to the scene. We don,t need so called safe lanes lets keep them as hard shoulders.Do people know that another 300 miles of safe lanes are in the pipeline.What a waste of money.ViewDate:

Should seagulls be culled?I live in Gloucester alongside the Gloucester - Sharpness canal and from February to August there are hundreds of gulls nesting on the large factory roof opposite where i live . They shriek at all times of the day and sometimes at night. The local council doesn,t seem to do much to deter them and a cull would be very welcome.ViewDate:
