Is the digital world excluding older people? What about the ones who do and the ones who don't simply because of a lack of understanding.ViewDate:

Is the digital world excluding older people?I said yes, simply because of the sheer number of older people who don't want or have access to modern tech I've lost count of he number of people I've helped over the years. The biggest problem I come across is fear of something new & different. Some actually understand the benefits but mistrust it & avoid the perceived risk. This is of course @a complex subject but, yes, older folk are being excluded - along with some younger (and young) ones too!ViewDate:

Are there too many social media sites?Social media is basically a sound idea. However, like many modern technologies, it has expanded at a faster rate than our ability to use it & control it effectively.ViewDate:

Should there be heavier restrictions on vapes to stop use among children? The question is not as simple as yes or no as there are people than children who need protecting. Firstly, disposables should be banned. Secindky, retailers need proper licencing. Vaping is more complicated than lighting up a cigarette. So retailers need to be skilled in all the options and give the correct advice to new & existing customers. I've been vaping for over 10 years. It got me off smoking straightaway because I was lucky enough to get great advice from the start In an ideal world, there would be no smoking or vaping. In the meantime, it is an accepted fact that the latter is safer. So let's just deliver the solution safely too!ViewDate:

Do you own an electric car?By the time a suitable charging infrastructure is in place, alternative power sources such as hydrogen may be available. So that's one of the (many) reasons I'm staying with petrol power.ViewDate:

Do you think that the speed limit should be reduced to 20mph on all urban roads?Very difficult speed to maintain in a modern car........however: * 20mph in areas of high risk e.g. around schools, hospitals etc * 25mph in medium/high risk areas such as residential estates & shopping streets * 30mph in areas of medium risk such as narrow & or windy country roadsViewDate:

Should there be heavier restrictions on vapes to stop use among children?Sounds good in theory but won't work. It will simply drive an already largely unregulated industry underground which the 4 million current UK vaoers will continue to access.ViewDate:

Should there be heavier restrictions on vapes to stop use among children?I've been a vaper for over 10 years. Nevertheless, I not only support the proposals, I'd like to see more regulation. My vaping journey over the years clearly shows that many vaping retailers are not knowledgeable enough and/or not committed to providing the right advice. They need to be properly qualified & licenced to carry out their important business. As it stands, anyone can open up a shop or online business. Apart from the advice, there's also a lack of control on product quality. Over the years, I've lost count of how many people I've helped who have been sold the wrong vaping solution. Finally, as far as disposables are concerned - simply ban them altogether.. Relative to other vaping solutions, they're the most expensive, litter our environment, easy to sell to under 18s etc etc. Just get rid!ViewDate:

Have you ever given your car a name?I always invented a name based on the number plate as it helped me to remember the reg number! The current car was a bit tricky - to start with anyway.. Then I realised that, as an all but retired business owner, all I had to do was remember the expression "Not applicable, Ex MD." That won't make much sense to you lovely readers. If you saw the number plate it would though! But there was an additional bonus. My car's model is a Superb. So I realised that it was also named after me - he says, modestly!!ViewDate:
