I am a recently retired builder, who having struggled through life has finally retired and jumped in the deep end with a move from Milton Keynes to the East Sussex Downs.
What a change in lifestyle! Walks along the white cliffs, the fresh smell of sea air. I really dont know why l didn't do this years ago!
I am keen to start playing tennis again, and hope to make many new friends in my retirement years. -

East Sussex - is anyone else from East Sussex?Hi Dottyme, I am a new arrival to East Sussex, having moved down here from the midlands a couple of weeks ago. You are so lucky to be living down here, life is at a different, more friendly pace. I have noticed this even with the current social distancing restrictions. It is a pity so many businesses and shops are closed up but it's a credit to the people that they remain so upbeat. I would like to hear of your recommendations for places to see in the area. I have never visited here in my whole 66 years of life!!ViewDate:

I have just separated following my wifes announcement of an established alternative relationship. I have put my house on the market, and after splitting the proceeds will have to move to new location to afford to buy again. So, all to look forward to, new lifestyle, new friends and best experiences. I hope this site will be helpful in moving forward. -
