Being directed to unwanted website from Silversurfers GamesThanks Sally Tried that but problem persists. Changed default browser to Chrome and it's working fine. Just wondered if anyone had a similar problem.ViewDate:

Would you be happy with a driving curfew over the age of 70?ALL drivers should have an eye test every 2 years, something that optometrists and ophthalmologists have been pushing for for years.ViewDate:

Should disposable barbecues be banned?Yes! Quite apart from the obvious fire hazard, these pollute the countryside and can be dangerous to wildlife. Even if people wait for the thing to cool down and take it home (unlikely!) they then put it in the bin from where it goes to landfill. Have a good old fashioned picnic instead with your food in paper bags or re-usable containers and take your food waste home too to dispose of properly.ViewDate:

Should wearing a face mask be compulsory in shops?Scottish Government has made it mandatory to wear masks in shops for some time now with good compliance in the main but there will always be people who feel the rules don't apply to them!ViewDate:

Should wearing a face mask be compulsory in shops? You can find plenty of advice on how to stop glasses steaming up online. My husband recently underwent lifesaving heart surgery - an operation lasting 9 hours. I'm thankful that his surgeon didn't refuse to wear a mask because it made his glasses steam up!ViewDate:

Should the new Covid-19 vaccine be made optional or mandatory?Given the way in which Covid 19 has changed our lives and our world forever, I cannot conceive why anyone in their right mind would refuse a vaccine when this becomes available. I am equally sure that the vaccine will have been fully safety tested and that there will be very few individuals for whom it is contraindicated. However there will still be a small but vocal number of "anti-vaxers" across the world who will refuse and also claim that the vaccine is unsafe and sadly I am afraid that some people will be persuaded by their arguments. The Covid pandemic is a public health emergency on an unprecedented scale and there is therefore every justification in making vaccination mandatory across the world. My only concern would be the level of protection which the vaccine will afford. This is a new virus about which little is yet known and vaccination may not give lifelong protection - only time will tell.ViewDate:

Are you inclined to take up the Government's offer - 'Eat Out To Help Out'?Still don't feel comfortable with the idea of being in a restaurant, (even socially distanced!) though we did normally love to eat out and feel huge sympathy with hotel and restaurant owners who face losing their businesses as a result of lockdown. 'Eat Out to Help Out' is a good idea but for us I'm afraid it's just too soon.ViewDate:

Do you buy a daily newspaper or read the news online? We do look at online news, but still like a "proper" newspaper every day. Online crosswords are not the same!ViewDate:

Should smacking children be banned across the UK?I am certainly in favour of any legislation that protects children against physical abuse and assault. I do wonder how this ban is going to be enforced though and by whom given that Police and Social Work in Scotland are already under-resourced. I can't remember the last time I saw a child being smacked in a public place so how is anyone to know if a child is being smacked at home?ViewDate:

English GrammarI agree about "so" but "like" is even more annoying. For example - "I was like...", "they were like...." etc.ViewDate:
