Hello from a Silver SurferHi Pente, Thank you for your comment. Best of luck for the future and the PLANED Trip. I also need the warmth which is why I now winter in Spain, I normally go from the end of September till mid April, this year we were out in February and locked down untill last week. we are now waiting to see what Brexit does for that. If you want to escape the winter blues when you do start to fullfill your plan I recomend southern Spain. Most of the "Brits" over their who still have their get up and go. Regards, Ted.ViewDate:

Is it realistic to expect over 70s to remain in their homes for 4 months?We are in Spain where the Total Lock Down is initially for two weeks but we expect it to go on for at least four weeks. We could have gone back to the UK but to be confined for four months appears a step to far. Two many in the UK do not appear to be taking note of the advise and want to carry on as normal. This will make the situation so much worse in the long term. It needs total lock down as has happened in China, Spain,France etc to put the breaks on this killer.The police stop people ignoring the ban and fine them on the spot. The Uk could learn a lot from that.
