I am a widow of last year, no kids of my own. I have stepkids but they live a long way. I work for the Nhs in an educational role.I go to paintimg classes and am learning to drive, yes you did read that correctly. I get fed up and bored and play a lot of Farm Heroes Saga.
I guess I want a life of my own and not merely borrowing time from friends who have their own lives and families -

Lonely and vulnerable and looking to chatThanks its very hard to be alone, I lost ,my husdand just over a year ago, I have no kids, my sisters keep in touch, i tend to use facebook meesanger to keep in touch , bit essentially on my own. I am a nurse, could have retired last year, kept it up due to lonliness , so I understand, also line in Scotland, luckily have a garden. look after yourself.ViewDate:

Alcohol dependencyMy husband died last year from alcoholic liver disease, what i know is you struggle to change things if he doesn't want to change his lifestyle. My husband had 4 kids (my stepkids) and wanted to stop but just couldn't. He was a good man with a terrible affliction and no professional help,helped. My life was a struggle but I would have not been without him for the time i had-20 years I know it's not helpful but sometimes you have to choose quality over quantity and let people make their own decisions Sorry to be contravesial and of little help but its just one womans experience. Some times its useful to know you are not the only one experiencing -
