Basically I am a quiet person but I have a good sense of humour and enjoy good company. I'm divorced and live , more or less on my own. My family and close friends are very important to me. I like being out in the open air, walking with someone or even on my own [but that does limit where I can walk, of course]. -

This year has really brought home the fact that we humans are social animals . Until now I felt very comfortable being divorced and on my own. However, there really is too much of a good thing ! How likely do you think family gatherings will be this Christmas?To be fair the Muslim celebration of Eid was curtailed earlier, so it wouldn't be extraordinary for Christmas gatherings to be smaller. I've joined and even created popular groups, but haven't made any real friends, just lots of acquaintances. My true friends are those from years ago.... one from 1969, would you believe ! It's hurtful when people make comments implying they don't need new friends. We all need friendsViewDate:

Did you marry the right person first time round?Sadly I stayed married for 37 years to a man I didn't like...stayed for the family and his " position" in society. Now I'm FREE to be me , at last...and a lot happier. -
