I took early retirement at the start of 2020, planning to travel more. Picked the wrong year to do that. However, It has given me more time to spend with my dog who is old now and to exercise more. The travelling will hopefully happen next year -

AngelaB46 showcase imageThat was the last holiday I did before Covid hit last yea. Went in Nov 2019. We went to Cairns from Sydney and then onto Brisbane after that. Australia is lovely I will go back somedayViewDate:

Bangkok - has anyone been there?Hi, I holidayed in Thailand in my 20's and found Bangkok dirty with a lot of poverty. Decided I wasn't going back to it, however, I was there for a week this time of year in 2018, absolutely loved it. It has changed so much. There is plenty to see and do, and you can get around easily by train, hop on boat or taxi. I hope you enjoy itViewDate:

Although it was lonely to start off with, I like where I live and have made friends (albeit they don't all live near me). I have thought of moving again as I took early retirement this year and it doesn't seem a scary option this time as I did it before but don't know what I want at the moment. Before you decide where you want to go decide what it is you want from an area. I like it this far South as the weather is much better and I am in a location that I can get to a beach within 1.5 hours, Airports 30 mins away (as I like to travel) and the area is safe.ViewDate:
