Hello! I'm newHi Lizzi1! It's good to hear from you! I have often wondered what it would be like living in Scotland. I live in the US, Western NY area. I'm 60 years old (Yikes! when did that happen?) and retired after 30 years working for CPS (Child Protective Services). I didn't want to retire; I had been diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS. This turned my life as I knew it completely upside down. Sometimes I feel like I'm almost to the top of the "hole" I dug for myself. I would be happy to chat anytime! RobbieViewDate:

I love the words you posted "we all need to feel comfort and assurance". You nailed it with that sentence. I am 60 years old and never, ever in my wildest dreams did I expect a pandemic. Relocating aloneHi Henry, I'm saddened by your post. I can't say I've been through what you're going through. I can say the future scares the heck out of me. I am 60, diagnosed a few years ago with Primary Progressive MS (the worst and the rarest). I can no longer drive and feel a burden to my husband who also has major health issues. Oh my, I'm no help to you at all! lol. My point is if you ever want to talk, I can at least listen. RobbieViewDate:

I worked 30 years for CPS. I am now 60; 3 years ago at age 57,, I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS. Who knew? At my age! Sadly, I wasn't ready to retire yet but I had to. I also collect disability as well. I feel as if I'm whining! I know so many have it worse. I can still get around the house unaided...(stumble around would be more accurate) but I am well aware the day will come...... Drop me a message if you want to. All the best...RobbieViewDate:

Calling all Dog lovers ... join in with our Dog Chat!Greetings to all. My post is not about a border collie though I know for sure they are wonderful dogs. When I saw the topic, I had to dig deep back in my mind but found the phrase my dad taught me. Something like this..."Never date or make friends with a person that does not like dogs but more importantly, when the dog does not like the human". I've lived by this "golden nugget" and it's beyond true. The same goes for little children. I can honestly say never, ever, would I date nor marry one who dislikes canines. :)ViewDate:

Would you volunteer to be euthanased?This topic caught my attention immediately. I'm 57 and I've recently been diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis). I cannot believe at my age this is happening. My sister had is extremely aggressively. (It killed her in the end; she died in a house fire as she could not get out due to paralyzing MS). This has always been my biggest fear though after 50 I thought I was out of the woods. I do not, will not, be a burden to my son.ViewDate:
