Hello, I'm a single parent looking after a teenage daughter and trying to grow a money tree. I work part time but I do get time to relax at times. I use the social media and internet to keep in touch with friends and family although I'd rather talk to them in the flesh. I hope I have a positive outlook with other Silversurfers. -

Hello in the LockdownHello Len, I live in Hampshire, near Portsmouth so I know very little about the garden of Eden. Good luck when this wretched lockdown is over. I was in shielding for three months first time round but escaped part 2. I hate wearing those masks, suffocating and trying to see through fog on my specs. Good luck with your walks pal.ViewDate:

Hello in the LockdownI've been placed under a 12 week furlough as I've been classed as highly vulnerable due to heart problems, skiin cancer and DVT. The NHS, Acts Of Kindness charity and the Citizens Advice have all been very helpful regarding getting my needs and kindly bringing me groceries and helping with any other problems. My daughter is living elsewhere due to my lockdown which has also helped. I enjoy keeping in touch with other people in the same boat, or worse, as meViewDate:

What to prune and when? Here’s how to cut back shrubs at the right timeI've always been a rather amateur gardener so pruning plants has never been my best forte. I trim roses in the Autumn and prune them hard from the end of February. Most shrubs are a case of "When do you prune these?" Thanks for the gardening tips.ViewDate:
