For my old mum we had a simple cremation and 15 min quiet contemplation. For my dad and step mum, they had pre-arranged funeral plans that were awful They were not religious but had agreed to having a vicar which was embarrassing for those of us involved. Ridiculous funeral procession,cheesy flowers(at extra cost) etc. My grandad's funeral -Jewish. Plain wooden coffin wtih family as pall bearers and also invited to shovel the first bits of soil. Simple service we had no idea about, but we pointed East when we were supposed to. It was the most 'spritual' event I've been to. Yes it's important for those left behind but I hated dad and step mum's funerals.

People need to stop thinking about themselves have a little humility and help others. Depression and anxiety are indulgences unless there is a chemical imbalance/ genetic reason. Anyone can achieve anything within reason, but we have so many 'snowflakes' and apparently 'hate crimes' . Hate is the word of the playground and lacks definition. PTSD however is very real-because of the horrors of islamic terror in those poor benighted countries like Afghan and syria

why is nobody here?

The EU is the Titanic- leave or stay there is a trillion € in unpaid debt that is off the books but the ECB will hold all member states accountable. Politically it is not much of a union and in the 21stcentury such political alliances are not needed for commerce. Capitalism finds a way. Yes I was an abstainer but now I see disaster ahead for Europe, and the monetary experiment called the Euro. We should just leave, stop buying wretched German cars. Andstop pretending the EU member states actually obey the EU laws. They do not. Fishing rights, agriculture, fake engine emmissions, property and human rights? Cross the channel and you're in the 18th century.Spain still throws donkeys off a tower,and has bull fighting. France eats foods we class as illegal,and who the heck knows about the junior states?
