All Hallows Eve (Halloween)
Here is a topical poem written by Tracey Curtis about witches during Halloween!
All Hallows Eve (Halloween)
It’s Halloween, the witching hour,
So kids, you beware.
Don’t go out, on your own,
Or if you do, take care.
Witches, will be searching,
Wanting, kids to boil.
They’ll pick you up, take you off,
Then, drop you in hot oil.
The witches, will be hiding,
On, every corner street.
The main dish, of the day,
Is little kids to eat.
I know you like, to trick and treat,
It give’s you lots of fun.
But if you see, a big black cat,
You take your sweets, and run.
They’re like, our Father Christmas,
They, come out once a year.
But they don’t, bring you presents,
They, only bring you fear.
Their hair is long, and often grey,
with, big black pointed hats
They like to fly around on brooms
And smell, of rotting bats.
Still go out, enjoy yourselves,
Remember, what I said.
Stay real close, to your friends,
You’ll make it back to bed.
