The November Meeting – Three days of Magic

The November Meeting at Cheltenham Racecourse hosts three days of unmissable action from Friday 15th – Sunday 17th November.

The racecourse’s largest event outside of The Festival™ presented by Magners is when Jump racing begins to hit full speed, and the magic of the season is set to begin.

The meeting kicks off with Countryside Day on Friday 15 November, which sees a host of complimentary entertainment for racegoers to enjoy. From local Hunt Parades, to Silent Auctions, Countryside Day offers a wealth of family entertainment as well as six quality races on offer. The proceeds of this special day shall be split between the Countryside Alliance and Equestrian Team GBR Tokyo2020, to help with expenses in the run up to the Olympic Games.

A moment not to be missed will be 20-time Champion Jockey, Sir Anthony McCoy getting back in the saddle to turn his hand to dressage for a display in the Parade Ring before racing.

After racing and free for Club and Tattersalls ticket holders, The Wurzels have got a ‘brand new combine harvester and are giving you the key’ to unlock your evening’s entertainment in The Centaur with the West Country legends.

The November Meeting Saturday allows racing to take to centre stage as it hosts the famous BetVictor Gold Cup, won last year by father-son duo Gary and Josh Moore with Baron Alco.  The seven race card never fails to throw up fantastic performances and the celebrations can continue into the evening with live music in The Centaur from The Wandering Wings.

The November Meeting Sunday has become well known for its Family Fun theme, and 2019 will be no different. With appearances from The Minions at intervals throughout the day, the Family Fun Zone has plenty of complimentary entertainment to keep the little ones entertained, and don’t forget, Under 18s can go racing for free.

If the children’s entertainment isn’t what you’re after, The Centaur will be hosting ITV Britain’s Got Talent finalists, The D-Day Darlings on Sunday 17th November. The UK’s premier wartime act will be supported by The D-Day Darling Juniors, ahead of the main band after racing from 4:15pm – 5:15pm.
