A few days before Christmas, create this impressive candle centrepiece ready for your table on Christmas day.
You will need:
- A plastic bottomed oasis ring, widely available from your local florist
- A mix of foliage, Kim uses blue pine, berried ivy, eucalyptus and yew
- Your choice of decorations, Kim uses pine cones, dried oranges, brandy snap roses, and berries
- A tall pillar candle
- Glass candle jar (optional)

How to make a Fireplace Garland
Creating your own fireplace garland is easy when you know how! You’ll need bigger cuts of foliage than used to create the the door wreath so it withstands the warmer temperatures indoors.
You will need:
- A length of rope
- Floristry wire
- A mix of foliage, cut into big chunks, Kim uses Blue pine, Berried Ivy and Yew
- Decorations of your choice, Kim adds copper wire lights, dried oranges, pine cones, and roses
