Give a Hand week 26 October – 1 November 2015
Make, bake and create. Put your baking skills to the test this October.
Are you a wannabe tennis pro or a budding artist? Can you bake a ‘showstopper’?
Whatever your forté this October put your passion into action for stroke survivors around the UK.
Give a Hand from 26 October until 1 November by undertaking your favourite activity, but with a twist – use your other hand. You can paint a scary Halloween picture for trick or treaters, bake and decorate delicious chocolate cupcakes or challenge your friends to ‘other hand bowling’. Whatever you choose, Give a Hand and raise funds to help change the world for people affected by stroke.
Our Handful of Ideas pack contains great ideas of activities to do with kids, from baking to bowling for toddlers to teenagers. Whatever you fancy there is a challenge
A stroke strikes in an instant but its effects can last a lifetime. Three quarters of stroke survivors lose the use of one of their hands. Often they have to re-learn to do the things they’ve always done – using their other hand. At the Stroke Association, we believe in life after stroke and support people through their rehabilitation.
Will you Give a Hand and show your support for the amazing steps taken by stroke survivors this Autumn?
Be part of a unique community that is changing the world for stroke survivors and their loved ones. Join in the fundraising this October and help raise vital funds to support stroke survivors around the UK.
