There are some truly inspirational podcasts dealing with the turbulence of our middle years and beyond so whether you’re looking for medical advice or just a little reassurance then do take the time to browse this online world.

Dr Louise Newson: The Menopause Doctor
Founder of The Menopause Charity, creator of the Balance menopause app and a passionate advocate for women’s health in midlife, Dr Louise Newson is a GP and menopause specialist.
The Dr Louise Newson Podcast consists of 30-minute episodes of serious medical chat but presented in a very accessible way. Along with contributions from doctors and scientists Dr Newson speaks to skincare experts, celebrities, and even her own mum. An invaluable resource if you’re looking for advice on a specific symptom or issue.
The MidPoint with Gabby Logan
Sports presenter Gabby Logan’s podcast The MidPoint with Gabby Logan looks at what it means to be at the halfway stage of your life. Chats with such guests as Tess Daly, Ruby Wax and Mariella Frostrup the podcast explores the challenges and expectations of life’s midpoint in an entertaining and thought-provoking way.

Postcards From Midlife
Lorraine Candy and Trish Halpin have been editing glossy magazines for more than two decades, helping support women through all aspects of their busy lives. Described as being ‘conceived over a bottle of wine or two between friends’, Postcards From Midlife‘s weekly podcast combines consulting experts on surviving midlife, covering subjects such as HRT, nutrition and sleep alongside chatting with guests including the likes of Trinny Woodhall advising how best to dress and Caroline Hirons on treating ageing skin.

The Merry Menopause
Founder of The Merry Menopause online community, Jo Fuller’s mission is to change the negative narrative and social stigma surrounding Menopause and the Menstrual Cycle. She raises awareness of the issues surrounding the understanding and treatment of women’s mental and physical health, and encourages women to harness the power of their hormones.
