Top Mouth-Watering Recipes for your Summer
Spring has long been sprung, and we are now getting a glimpse of the long-awaited beautiful hot weather!
In celebration of National BBQ week Hochanda are here with a different type of craft… the type that makes mouths water and puts a smile on everyone’s face – the fine art of cooking. They are bringing you an early taste of those sublime summer evenings, as their new guest, Cheeky Boy Sauces, have some delicious recipes to inspire your BBQs. Before we get started, make sure you pick a relaxing summers day with a cool breeze. Put your shades on and get into your summer dress or shorts and t-shirt. Cheeky Boy Sauces says that it is absolutely essential to have some funk music playing in the background to get you in the groove – they recommend Chaka Khan’s ‘Ain’t Nobody’!
BBQ Sausages
You need:
Wood, charcoal or gas BBQ
Pork sausages
Berlin49 (Cheeky Boy Sauces)
Cook: Slowly at a low heat until brown. Turn the sausages every 3 minutes until done.
Serve: Place the juicy sausages on a platter and pour Berlin49 sauce over the top!
Serve with toasted hot dog buns & salad.
BBQ Burgers
You need:
Wood, charcoal or gas BBQ
Homemade burgers from 5% fat mince beef
Onions (sliced into rings)
Berlin49 (Cheeky Boy Sauces)
Cook: Chargrill at a high heat for 1 min on both sides. Add onions. Then, cook slowly at a low heat until the fluid seeping out looks clear. Once the clear fluid appears you are done.
Serve: Place burgers & onions on toasted buns and pour Berlin49 over the top.
Serve with chips & salad.
BBQ Chicken
You need:
Wood, charcoal or gas BBQ
Chicken wings, drums, thighs
Jolly Roger (Cheeky Boy Sauces)
Cook: Slowly at a low heat until the meat next to the bone does not look red or pink.
Serve: Place the chicken portions on a platter. Pour Jolly Roger into a dipping dish and dip away!
Serve with chips & salad.
