Spicy Lamb Burgers
If you are planning a barbecue this month, homemade burgers are always a cut above the rest.
Why not try this recipe for spicy lamb burgers as an alternative to beef, and impress your friends? Very simple to make, either ahead of time, or even for the freezer.
INGREDIENTS:
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
450g lamb mince
1 tbsp ground coriander
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tbsp vegetable oil
4 burger buns salt and pepper
4 tbsp Rachel’s Organic Natural yogurt
WHAT TO DO:
1. Preheat the grill.
2. Put the onion, garlic, mince, coriander and cumin in a bowl and mix well. Season and shape into four burgers.
3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the burgers for 5 minutes on each side.
4. In the meantime, toast the buns on the cut side.
5. Serve the burgers in the buns with a dollop of Rachel’s Organic Natural Yogurt, a few mint leaves, tomato slices and shredded lettuce.
