Before live pause and streaming, singing along to adverts was part of the after-school ritual.

Watching TV commercials seemed part and parcel of the after-school telly-watching ritual for kids in the 1980s and 1990s.

Eager young minds could sing along to jingles and repeat slogans – an advertiser’s dream – before the excitement of a show coming back on.
