Eurovision: do we have a chance this year?
Love it or hate it Eurovision is set to grace our screens again next week after a year out due to the pandemic
Due to take place 18-22 May in Rotterdam, this year we may be in with a chance.
The hopes of a 2021 win rest firmly on the shoulders of Yorkshire born multi-award winning singer songwriter James Newman.
Having written hits for Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris, Ella Eyre Jess Glynne, Olly Murs and James Arthur to name but a few, James Newman is in a great position to have penned another, this time for himself.
The song Newman has released is Embers, which he describes as a “banger” and “full of positivity.”
“Embers is about those sparks that don’t die out.
“It’s about having that connection and something reigniting. It’s about us emerging from this rubbish time we’ve been having. It fits with the idea that Eurovision is coming back.”
