Cast your vote in the Boom Radio All-Time 2025 Chart

Vote now for the Boom All Time Chart 2025 - ready for our mammoth Easter broadcast!

Which are your favourite songs of all time?

Of all the thousands you’ve listened to or bought over the years, which ones rise to the top? Maybe it’s a 45 you spent your precious pocket money on – or just a true classic that beamed out of your transistor radio in your happiest of days.

Every year, Boom Radio broadcasts its All-Time Chart, with ‘baby boomer’ listeners voting for their favourites.

Last year, the Beatles occupied over 10% of the entire Top 200, with a staggering twenty-one positions. The track In My Life was highest placed for the Fab Four, recorded sixty years ago for the Rubber Soul LP.

The chart’s oldest record was Cliff’s Move It from 1958 – but his 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s material was all represented.

Only a few more recent tracks made the grade, including The Living Years from 1989 by Mike & The Mechanics and the 1982 hit Zoom from Fat Larry’s Band.

Three surprise places in the chart were claimed by Worcestershire singer-songwriter Clifford T. Ward.  A former English teacher in Stourport-on-Severn, his haunting voice was one of Terry Wogan’s favourites, as showcased so beautifully in Clifford’s highest placed song Home Thoughts from Abroad.

The most popular instrumental came as no surprise with Fleetwood Mac’s perfect Albatross; and Dusty claimed the top spot for a solo female artist with Goin’ Back.

This year’s entire chart will be broadcast over the whole of Easter in a mammoth Boom Radio programme which always turns out to be a highlight of the year.

After the mammoth sixteen hours has reached its climax, Simon Bates pops up with the songs which did not quite make the Top 200, but attracted a fair number of votes – which always reveals some treasures.

Voting for the 2025 chart is already underway, so do click below and let Boom know your five all-time favourites.
