The best of the Dave Clark Five
The Dave Clark Five is one of the best-selling British rock groups of all time.
Though the band was popular for less than a decade, they were an important part of the ‘British Invasion’, selling over 100 million records and competing closely with the Beatles on the UK Singles Chart.
Their 1964 hit Glad All Over knocked I Want to Hold Your Hand off the number one spot, and particularly in the United States the group enjoyed the same popularity as the Beatles in the mid-60s.
Today we’re taking a trip down memory lane and looking back at some of the best songs from the Dave Clark Five. Were you a fan?
Glad All Over
Bits & Pieces
Over and Over
Because
Catch Us If You Can
Everybody Knows
