Get back to the activities you love with pilates for injury recovery
Our partner Goldster is offering a Pilates course that focuses on injury recovery and is designed to help you move safely and effectively as you recover. The course is led by Jude, a dedicated and passionate Pilates and movement teacher with 15 years of teaching experience.
In this six-week course, you will learn the following topics in each class:
- Introduction – why the core, breathing patterns, posture, and alignment are essential for all injuries
- Hips – moving safely with a hip injury with a focus on the glutes and pelvis
- Knees – knee and leg strengthening to help knee injuries
- Shoulders – shoulder and arm alignment and scapular stability for shoulder injuries
- Back – how to move the spine safely post injury
- Neck – neck mobility and strengthening, looking at safe stretches, neck positioning, and upper body posture
The course is designed to be inclusive of all levels, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced Pilates practitioner. Each class will have modifications and progressions to cater to your level and injury.
The course is live every Wednesday 3pm-4pm. Catch-up recordings will be available shortly after each class.
