3-week Calmer Life Programme
Learn how to manage stress healthily
Left untreated, prolonged feelings of stress can have negative impacts on our mental and physical health
You can learn how to grow your resilience, and your ability to manage stress, building inner strength, with the 3-week Calmer Life Programme provided by our trusted partner Goldster, and led by Expert Health Coach Susan Saunders.
Susan will teach you easy-to-follow, evidence-based techniques to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to develop an approach to managing stress that works for you.
All sessions are online so you can take part from home.
Dates: 22nd August-11th September
The programme includes:
- Three weeks of Goldster online classes via Zoom to choose from including activities that have shown to reduce the sense of stress.
- An online introductory lecture with Health Coach Susan Saunders providing information on the effects of stress and tools and tips on stress management.
- Three live and interactive 1-hour group coaching sessions with Susan via Zoom
- Weekday coaching, motivation and feedback in a private Facebook group which you will be invited to join
- Questionnaires and worksheets to look at factors for addressing stress
- Daily emails with your class reminders and motivators. Susan will provide worksheets to accompany her lectures and coaching sessions which will be sent by email before the sessions.

Why join the programme?
In the Calmer Life programme, you’ll be given a recommend a selection of live classes to join, which help to promote a sense of calmer and reduce the symptoms of stress.

In July 2022 100 people attended the Calmer Life programme, when we asked them what they wanted to achieve, the most common answers were to;

After finishing the programme, members said:
Everyone on the program is encouraged to join at least one class a day from the Calming class options. In addition, getting some physical exercise and doing creative or inspiring activities can provide even more stimulation of the feel good factors that can also increase the sense of calm. You are welcome to do as many classes from the timetable as you like each day but do only as much as you like and can manage. Restorative rest is important too.
Meet your Coach
Susan qualified as an advanced Health Coach at the prestigious Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York. She has spent the last decade researching how to age well and is co-author of the best-selling book The AgeWell project and author of the Age-Well Plan. Through her coaching she helps people across the world create healthy longevity for themselves.
How to join the classes
On booking your place, you will receive an email with links to the classes, and instructions on how to join. The programme is run by our trusted partner Goldster, an online health and wellness platform designed for the over 50’s. When you join your class you can take it at your own pace. Turn your camera on or off, and enjoy the experience. Each class is hosted by a friendly concierge, Steph, Tom or Dan, and they’ll help to make your class run smoothly.

How much it cost to join the programme?
The 3-week programme has limited spaces, so that everyone can work together to managing stress in a supportive community of like minded people, all working towards the same goals, guided by Susan. The cost to join is £24.99 per person.
To reserve your place on the programme, you will be transferred to Goldsters website to complete your purchase securely. Payment is accepted with a credit or debit card. Upon payment, you will receive an email to confirm your place, and will be invited to join the private community on facebook.
The first coaching session with Susan Saunders will be on the 22nd August.
