Come along for the Ride – to the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation ‘Art for Survival Exhibition’ at Christie’s
The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) is launching an exciting new Art Ambassadors Programme through a stunning collaborative exhibition of original works at Christie’s, London. Opening to the public on 4th November 2017 and running through until 7th November 2017, the exhibition will feature the work of six hugely talented artists who have been invited to be part of the charity’s mission to raise awareness and funds to save wildlife through highly visual and emotive media…
On the night of 7th November 2017 – between 6p-9pm, in the same gallery space, DSWF are also hosting a ticketed event which will see some of their new sporting supporters including double Olympic gold medal rower Alex Gregory, South African International cricketer Jacques Rudolph, England Rugby Football Unions official anthem singer, Laura Wright and rugby player Harry Rowland launch their new ‘Wild Ride’ initiative!
In July 2018, the team will be cycling through Zambia and Zimbabwe to raise vital funds for DSWF’s work. They will be making stops at a number of DSWF’s key project locations, where work to tackle wildlife crime and save endangered wildlife is on-going. This is a huge challenge for the team but provides an In the lead up to the ride, the team will be working hard to raise awareness of DSWF’s work and spread the story far and wide.
The evening promises to be a fun event, with the team not only discussing their sporting careers but also sharing some interesting anecdotes along the way. They will touch upon the motivation required to face the challenges that shaped such successful careers, along with what has driven their desire to join DSWF to help save endangered wildlife.
