Starchild

Starchild

I’m lost under the endless stars
I follow the starpath home
to a distant planet
which was my childhood home

Where panthers sing
their silent songs
under the Autumn moon
Where women weave
a net of poems
to catch and drag you down

Where dolphins hold great mysteries
in coral and in pearl
Where gentle fae wish upon stars
for all the Universe
The sea holds endless treasures
in coral and in pearl

Where starfish shine
to light your way
and fireflies glow like stars
I would walk the starpath
unto my distant home
So take my hand and walk with me
Then I won’t walk alone
