Touring Japan - any advice welcome

Hello, I'm thinking of visiting Japan next year as part of a guided tour, and will be travelling on my own.

Anyone have any good experiences of doing similarly and which tour companies would you suggest? I don't like the 'living out of a suitcase' style holidays, but appreciate I need to do two nights max at a hotel to see the most of the country. Any thoughts greatly appreciated please ...

Japan is definitely a place with many memorable destinations worth seeing. When I visited in my youth as a solo traveler, I was lucky to have local friends to guide me around. While independent exploration is possible, a tour can provide valuable guidance, especially for return trips without personal contacts. As someone hoping to experience Japan's wonders again in the future, this discussion on travel companies is interesting to consider for navigating an encore visit without my past companions. Wishing you safe and enjoyable travels, wherever they may lead!

I have toured Japan during the blossom season and it's wonderful - I can recommend Wendy Wu Tours if you want to have an escorted tour and make the best of the time you spend there 🙂 https://www.wendywutours.co.uk/
