Our Dearest Paul O’Grady

I was so very sad to hear of the passing of Paul O’Grady when I woke up this morning, such an enormous loss.

He was such a gentleman who exuded warmth and love.  Just a small tribute in his memory.

Our Dearest Paul O’Grady

Our dearest Paul O’Grady
We are all so sad to hear the news
You were such a loving gentleman
No one else could fill your shoes

Your caring ways shone bright from you
As you nurtured all our pets
Battersea will miss your warmth
You were truly the best it gets

Our loss is great, but at Heaven’s Gate
Many dogs now form a queue
May you never be alone, kind Sir
As they now take care of you

I absolutely love writing poems. Enjoying my garden and my dogs. I used to be an Age UK Befriender, which I would thoroughly recommend to anybody. So rewarding
