The uniqueness of Kate Bush

Kate Bush released her first single, Wuthering Heights, in 1978 at the age of 19. It soared up the UK charts to number one making her the first female artist to achieve a number one single with a self-written song.

Kate Bush is a groundbreaking artist. Combining music with contemporary ballet moves she has paved the way for a new generation of pioneering female singers. Kate’s music videos were performance art and her concerts broke all the moulds. Now, with the popularity of Stranger Things, the sci-fi Netflix series based in the 1980s, Kate Bush’s musical career has enjoyed a resurgence.
