Void
Void
There’s a big dark space
Where I hold the memory of your face
Whether it’s a gate, a rainbow bridge or simply a walk through a door
What I’d give to look at you once more
Kisses that rained on your face
Teardrops have taken their place
Hollow, empty, feeling depleted
Playing over moments never to be repeated
The tree carried on through all the seasons
And I count all the reasons
I’ve been lucky to have had you in my life
The laughter, the stresses, the mess-ups digresses
There’s no balance to the empty from when it was full
The light carries on but for me it’s gone dull
Walking through noise in a silence with you
One foot in front of the other that’s what you’d want me to do
