Nursing home blues
I hate Corvid 19 more and more, each and every day
Even though I was taught to never feel this way.
It’s killing so many people all around the globe
It leaves us feeling empty, for some there is no hope.
It’s hard for health work employees working day and night
So we applaud them every Thursday to never give up the fight.
I’ve never had a cough or the slightest little wheeze
But I really do detest it for what it’s done to me.
I hate it because it’s keeping my wife and me apart
And I hate it as it’s having a profound effect upon my heart.
