Just a Little Virus
Just a Little Virus
It’s just a little virus
What harm can it do?
It’s a bit worse than a cold
Be just like having flu
A government conspiracy
To keep us all in line
I won’t let it stop me
See? I’m feeling fine!
I’ve been down to the cafe
I popped into the shop
Quick beer at my mate’s house
And then just one more stop
I visited my sister
And played with her three boys
I held her little baby girl
And handed her some toys
Tomorrow, I’ll go visit Mum
I don’t get all this fuss
I can’t be bothered walking
I think I’ll get the bus
But now, it’s four months later
With half those people gone
Why didn’t I listen?
Oh, God, what have I done?
You were just a little virus
And I underestimated you
So you taught me the hard way
The damage you can do
