The House Clean Corona Style!

I will attempt to keep writing amusing poems. If you like them then share them as everyone needs their spirits lifting. Hope you enjoy! No spider was harmed.xx

The House Clean, Corona Style.

The spiders are in turmoil and my cats are now in shock,
my vacuum is in overdrive, the dusters run amok.
Mopping’s now a frenzy and the bleach is running free,
I’m cleaning like a demon, the devil on a spree!

I’m hunting down Corona, the kind you can not see,
the conflict is commencing and it’s war I now decree.
It’s a total germ offensive as the battle lines are drawn,
my cat’s have fled in terror and are watching from the lawn.

With those rubber gloves ‘a twangin’ and the ‘anti bac’ on tap,
I’m equipped for all those blighters with my sprayer there to zap.
My goggles are now misting and it’s foggy in the house,
I think I’ve sprayed my sleeping dog and blitzed my dozing spouse!

The spiders have surrendered and are leaving in their hordes,
my dog and cats are in the shed for quietness as reward.
The vacuum has exploded and the sprayers sprung a leak,
my cleaning days are over as my gusto’s up the creek!

The dog and cats are comatose, back lying on the couch,
our spider friends have all returned, of that I can now vouch.
All in all the cleanings done, and everyone is fine,
So perhaps it time to rest my legs and have a glass of wine!

Medicinal purposes of course !
