Is it Dinner Time yet?
Is it Dinner Time yet?
I really want to diet, I need to lose some weight
I’ve tried to count up calories, or use a smaller plate
Toted up fat units, (though I failed to cut out booze)
Often went out jogging, but not an ounce I’d loose
I knew of most my failings, was under no illusion
After much deliberation, I came to this conclusion
Instead of eating breakfast, at roughly half past seven
I’d stay in bed then dine, about twenty past eleven
So lunchtime then would be, a quarter after four
Evening meal at ten pm, by now you know the score
Supper, there would be no need, so calories are falling
Tho’ would be slimmers take my heed, results were quite appalling
It is not good to lie in bed listening to your tum
Screaming out for cornflakes and knowing they won’t come
One pm arrives at last, you keep checking the clock
The sandwich sitting in the fridge, it is a dreadful shock
By six, lunch not long over, but like a guilty sinner
You are eyeing up your evening meal and ready for your dinner
Looking back it was a very long day in my life
As for dropping dress sizes….it’s simply too much strife
