Once a week
Once a week
She thought about it frequently, a smile upon her face
If anybody knew of it, she would be in disgrace
It filled her mind completely, the obsession of her life
Should she be spotted doing it, the rumours would be rife
She always was much happier when Wednesday came around
Filled with anticipation, ears seeking out the sound
She licked her lips, she trembled, her spine was all a tingle
Oh that surge of extacy, when she heard his bells a jingle
After six whole days of waiting, she would go and meet the man
To hell with all the calories, here comes the ice cream van
