Chaos from Order
Chaos from Order
The bedroom was so tidy,
Shoes all neatly stacked
Clothes hanging in the wardrobe,
Tho’ the rails were tightly packed
Mum hoovered and she polished,
Whilst her daughter was in class
She muttered as she did it
At the most untidy lass
When the windows sparkled
On the carpets not a crumb
The duvet washed, the pillows fluffed
And one contented mum
The house was now so peaceful
Neat and tidy, every room
Sudoku out, coffee made,
harmony in tune
Crash bang wallop, went the door
Clatter up the stairs
Yells of outraged disbelief
Someone’s touched what wasn’t theirs
How could you do it mum
Cried a very angry voice
How I live is my concern
Tho’ it may not be your choice
Paper folded, coffee cold
Yes the girl had made it plain
That she was home was very clear
And chaos reigns again
