A tribute to snow leopards

A tribute to snow leopards

Imagine I’m a leopard,
Hunted for my skin,
Rare as gold and white as snow,
So lean and mean and trim,

I’d spend my days just hunting,
Killing, eating prey,
And then devour them limb by limb,
They’d never get away,

Only trouble that I had,
Was fear of being caught,
So someone  else will wear my coat,
Expensive to be bought,

So I took on a different path,
I let myself be captured,
Now I live inside a zoo,
And people  are enraptured,

And I did acclimatise,
To always being fed,
But tricky  being up so close,
One keeper is now dead!!
