That’s My Chair
That’s My Chair
Well I think I’ve heard it all now
Pre-book your sun lounger by the pool
So you don’t have to get up early
To put your towel on a chair, so uncool.
No more towels floating on top of the water
No more arguing, ‘that’s my chair’
We come back here every year, you know
We shouldn’t pay, it seems so unfair.
You might be very unlucky
The chair’s left are all in the shade
Sorry you can’t sit in the sun
They’re reserved for the ones that have paid.
I’d rather chew on a flipflop
Than pay for a poolside chair
After all its just a resting place
To relieve my tired derriere.
Pay to swim, is on the horizon
All inclusive, you’re having a laugh
My back garden is looking very inviting
A free deckchair, and the old tin bath.
Be sure to read all the small print
Check for added extras, that are not in the price.
I’m all for a very good holiday
But please include the chair in the price.
