Welcome to Susie’s Snappy Swimsuits. I’m Susie, the creator and developer of this unique swimsuit.
Why is it unique? It is unique because it is the first swimsuit of its kind that you can undo quickly and conveniently.
How did this come about? My mother and I were on holiday in Spain three years ago and were both wearing one piece swimsuits. Trying to get out of our swimsuits quickly and conveniently was impossible. Wriggling and wrestling to get out of our swimsuits was challenging and frustrating.
Of course, wearing a two piece could solve that problem. However, there are times when wearing a one piece is necessary, either because of feeling self-conscious wearing a bikini or because it is more appropriate to be wearing a one piece swimsuit.
I discovered that a one piece swimsuit that was easy to get in and out of literally did not exist. I made the decision, there and then, to create and develop one. It needed to be stylish and figure flattering. It needed to be functional and it needed to be of the highest quality. It has been a long and challenging journey. However, along the way, the feedback from women who gave me the ‘nod’ factor kept me going. With the help of experts in their field, I was able to create a swimsuit that is both stylish, figure flattering and functional.
Susie’s Snappy Swimsuit had to be tried and tested. On holidays in Cape Verde and in Spain, both at the beach, in the ocean, at the pool, around the poolside, this took place. To an onlooker, the swimsuit looks like any other as its unique feature is hidden. It is discreet. There was always the look of surprise when I pointed out the snaps. “Why hadn’t anyone thought of this?” was the question I was always asked.
It has been such a privilege to work with amazing experts to develop and create this unique and first of its kind swimsuit; an award winning British factory, beautiful Italian fabric sourced from an ethical, sustainable company, the dyes free from harmful chemicals, British hand woven labels and most importantly the stainless steel snaps which are its unique feature. It comes with a pedigree that makes it a luxury item, created to last.
