The Beautiful Biscuit
The Beautiful Biscuit
Oh, you beautiful biscuits
sitting in the pack
I’ll only have just one of you
and then I’ll put you back
I will not be a greedy pig
and eat you all in haste
I’ll think of all the calories
which head straight to my waist
Oh, you beautiful biscuits
I hear you from the shelf
“eat me, eat me” you all shout
so should I help myself
and gorge upon your sweetness
the taste would be divine
and all those carbohydrates
would be used up…. in time
Oh, you beautiful biscuits
why can’t you ALL be mine?
to have just one is torture
to leave the rest a crime
I’ll just have this one packet
I’m sure no-one will know
and when friends says “you’re getting fat”
I’ll say “how muscles grow”
NO!! you naughty biscuits
you can’t tempt me, I’m strong
I’m dreaming of those skinny jeans
I know it won’t be long
I’ll throw you in the bin, I will
NO, NO stay there, move not
Now look what you made me do
I’ve gone and scoffed the lot……
