Inside Out
Inside Out
Deep within a mind’s eye
Lies a glittered globe afire.
Surrounded by saffron essence
And bubbling, traumatic ooze.
Boiling and broiling, seething,
Belching aromas in pastel hues,
Iridescent sparkles co-mingle
Within a feisty maggot stew.
Deeper yet lies the truth,
Awaiting request for rebirth.
Sightless shadows dance among
A nova’s malformed delight.
Yet ever comes a dawn of need,
To brighten the globe to spawn,
Succulent sweet within will meet
The outside shredded and forlorn.
