Another half hour
Another half hour
Mum, you know I stay out till half past eight,
All my friend’s can stay out till late.
I’ve seen them giggling,
When I come in,
Would another half hour,
Be such a sin.
I’ll take my phone,
So you can call,
If I don’t answer,
Don’t shout and baul
We’re just on the corner,
Having a laugh,
Soon as I’m in
I’ll jump straight in the bath.
Let me think, the answers ‘No’,
I’m not green,
I know where you go.
So the 8.30 curfew,
Is like it or not,
You don’t think you’ll bother,
Then you can go dry the Potts.
8.30 o.k mum?,
Then that’s a date,
All my friend’s,
Have to be in at eight.
