Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem

Yesterday’s another country and the borders are closed
There’s no admittance strict rules are imposed

Tomorrow never comes it’s true what they say
Live in the present life’s gift of today

Savour every moment the best you know how
Always remember the importance of now

Life passes by in the blink of an eye
Too soon births hello becomes a goodbye

Enjoy time spent with family and friends
Calm troubled waters and make amends

Carpe Diem every day and you’ll find
Theres no need to fast forward or wish to rewind
