A Fairy Tale
A Fairy Tale
The fairies are the wee folk who hide within plain sight
Sometimes you can catch a glimpse if the light’s just right
They may appear to you if it’s their intention
Or reveal themselves enjoying life in their own dimension
There are sights and sounds to show us they’re around
Once you become aware they are more easily found
A whisper in the wind or scent of sweet perfume
A sense of sudden movement when you walk into a room
The sound of tinkling bells or music wafting on the breeze
Suddenly becomes apparent while you tend your flowers and trees
Adorn your home or garden with a tiny door and more
Complete with swings and things which they will adore
They’ll accept the invitation to interact with you
They’ll dance and sing together perhaps leave a gift or two
There’s more to life than meets the eye you only have to look
To see that fairy folk exist beyond a children’s book
